1. Antioxidant effect: Polyphenols in grape seed extract include phenolic hydroxyl groups of proanthocyanidins and gallic acids, which provide hydrogen atoms and have specific and powerful antioxidant effects. The ability of neutralizing iron ions and oxygen attacking lipids is 15 ~ 25 times that of VB, and its free radical scavenging effect is stronger than that of VC.VE and other antioxidants.
2. Anti-radiation effect: it can inhibit lipid peroxidation caused by radiation.
3. Anti-inflammatory effect: The main components are proanthocyanidins, whose antioxidant activity can inhibit the synthesis and release of inflammatory factors such as histamine, prostaglandin and leukotriene, inhibit the release of basophils and mast cells granules, inhibit the activity of histamine decarboxylase and limit the action of hyaluronase.
4. Cataract prevention: the main component of cataract prevention is catechin; Grape seed extract can improve the visual acuity of patients with myopic non-inflammatory retinal changes and improve eye fatigue.
5. Anti-ulcer effect: oligomeric proanthocyanidins in grape seed extract can protect gastric mucosa damage, and proanthocyanidins have the effect of scavenging free radicals on stomach surface and protecting stomach wall.
