Product Description
Tryptophan, β-indolylalanine, is white or slightly yellow crystal or crystalline powder; it is odorless and tastes slightly bitter. Slightly soluble in water, very slightly soluble in ethanol.
Tryptophan is an important precursor for auxin biosynthesis in plants. Its structure is similar to IAA, and it is widespread in higher plants.
