Indolebutyric acid is a chemical with the formula C12H13NO2. Pure product is white crystalline solid. Insoluble in water, the solubility in water at 20ºC is 0.25 g/L. Soluble in benzene, soluble in other organic solvents. Its vapor and air can form explosive mixture, in the case of open fire, high heat caused combustion explosion. It reacts with an oxidant.
