DIM is an effective radiation shield and mitigator, which works by stimulating ATM-driven DDR-like responses and NF-κB survival signals. DIM can inhibit diseased cell invasion, angiogenesis, proliferation and induce apoptosis by regulating signal pathways, such as AKT, NF-κB and FOXO3. It can also inhibit gene expression induced by estrogen and cause endoplasmic reticulum stress response. DIM can change the metabolism of estrogen and antagonize the activity of estrogen and androgen receptors.
DIM Pharmaceutical intermediate; this derivative, under relatively high concentration conditions, can not only directly accelerate the apoptosis of human diseased cells, but also sensitize TRAIL to induce apoptosis of human diseased cells; DIM induces a G1 Cell loop inhibition, expressed in human breast diseased MCF-7 cells through mechanism and inclusion; DIM is a potent inhibitor of mitochondrial H+-ATPase; as a new plant growth promoter, DIM and its derivatives have functioned Used in eco-friendly system research.
