Epicatechin
Acacia catechu is a plant of the genus acacia in the leguminous family. Small deciduous trees of catechu, 6-13m high. Bark brown, often dehiscent in strip flakes, but not abscissive; Lobules pubescent. Two pinnate compound leaves, alternate, 6-12cm long; Stipules often have a pair of flat, brown hooklike spines or absent below; There are glands near the base of total petiole and between several pairs of pinnae at the top of leaf axis.
