Gefitinib, also known as Iressa, is a selective epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has received prior chemotherapy or is not suitable for chemotherapy.
